Job Summary

Purpose of the Role

  • To support communications of the organization, particularly the marketing and development teams

Job Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Manage and create content for the Rep’s social media campaigns and YouTube channel
  • Analyze social media and website analytics to better understand our audience and what they like to see
  • Produce electronic and printed newsletters to communicate with our friends, subscribers, and board
    • Create multiple channels to send emails to specific groups of people
  • Grow and Maintain our digital storytelling
    • Run our livestreams, answer live comments, and provide tech support
  • Plan and organize community engagement strategies with the Director of Audience Development
  • Build and maintain the communications calendar for all marketing and development patron communication
  • Develop, grow, and maintain our voucher program
  • Maintain marketing collateral inventory, storage, and history
  • Spearhead UPSTAGE, our Young Professionals group
  • Basic data entry for both marketing and development initiatives



  • Exemplary written and verbal communication and proofreading skills
  • Basic graphic editing skills required, intermediate skills preferred
  • Basic video editing skills required, intermediate skills preferred
  • Ability to learn podcast production
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Google docs
  • Ability to learn Tessitura, our customer relationship software
