Job Summary
Possibility Place is a Christ-centered educational day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are in search of a Program Leader/Teacher who has a heart for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This person will be responsible for teaching 30-minute Life Skills and Vocation Skills classes on a rotating schedule in a fun and fast-paced day program. This person will also lead a morning devotion and prayer time for our Pals.
This person needs to be high energy, self-motivated, and love to see individuals succeed. They need to be able to be flexible, multi-task, and function in an atmosphere that is fun, busy, and centered around helping these adults be all that they can be and reach their God-given potential. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30-3:30. We are open August through mid-June. We take 6 weeks off in the summer. All time off is unpaid, with the exception of Fall Break and Spring Break. These two weeks are paid time off. We are also closed for 2 weeks at Christmas. We are a small, but rapidly growing non-profit. Any persons hired must be able to pass a TBI background check.
Unfortunately, at this time, our small nonprofit cannot offer insurance benefits. But we are working on it and hope to in 2022.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities
This person will be responsible for teaching 30-minute Life Skills and Vocation Skills classes on a rotating schedule in a fun and fast-paced day program. This person will also lead a 15 minute morning devotion and prayer time for our Pals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in a special education related field.
