The Need

The department of Learning and Leadership comprises the heart of CNM’s offerings and services including Education, Consulting, Community Impact as well as sector-level focus on thought leadership, advocacy, and equity initiatives. CNM seeks to create and produce programs and services of the highest quality that are member-focused in design and implementation. CNM strives to be an equitable, accessible, and transparent organization providing detailed reporting and tracking on overall impact of program participation.

 

The Position

The Learning and Leadership Coordinator will support the department of Leadership & Learning of CNM through executing evaluation and feedback of all program participation (workshops, consulting projects, and CI programming) including tracking and synthesizing data for the CNM dashboard, storytelling campaigns, and impact reporting. This position will also provide programmatic support to the facilitation of workshop preparation (virtual or in-person), provide administrative support for consulting executive searches, and scheduling of CI programming. Additionally, the Coordinator will prepare invoicing and billing paperwork for CNM contractors rendering services in Education, Consulting, and Community Impact, as well as writing proposal and preparing contracts for those services.

Job Responsibilities

The daily work of the Coordinator is to:

  • Execute evaluation and feedback follow-up for all programs:
    • Education workshops
    • Consulting projects
    • Community Impact programming (convenings, projects, and events)
  • Track and synthesize data and program participant feedback related to education, consulting, and community impact for CNM reporting purposes (i.e. dashboard, storytelling, impact reporting)
  • Provide programmatic support for successful execution of CNM programs including:
    • Support for workshop execution and logistics, including:
      • Monitoring, triaging, and responding to training@cnm.org
      • Supporting certificate recipient progress
      • Scheduling and confirming Zoom support contractors
    • Support for consulting execution and logistics, including:
      • Monitoring, triaging, responding, and scheduling requests related to consulting@cnm.org
      • Administrative support for executive search consulting projects
    • Coordinate scheduling of Community Impact meetings and events
  • Contract coordination
    • Write proposals and prepare contracts for client execution for CNM programs including:
      • Facilitator contracts for Education
      • Client proposals and contracts for Consulting
      • Contracts for Customized Training
    • Upload approved contracts into DocuSign for CLLO to sign
    • File and track fully executed contracts
  • Tracks invoicing for CNM contractors of education and consulting (and community impact as needed)
  • Support Chief Learning and Leadership Officer with administrative tasks related to sector-level special projects and initiatives
  • Part of the CNM team in staffing large organizational events, such as Salute to Excellence, as well as other special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field or equivalent years’ of experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in nonprofit organizations


Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, preferably experience with Nashville nonprofits
  • Understands how to detect problems
  • Knows how to operate within a database and how databases work
  • Knows the Microsoft suite, especially Excel

Additional Information

Benefits

The position reports to the Chief Learning and Leadership Officer of CNM. This is a non-exempt position and hourly wage will be $18.50/hour.  Additionally, CNM offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, disability insurance and retirement planning options.
