Job Summary
Full-time position stationed at Mid-Cumberland’s central office in Nashville. This is very responsible supervisory and administrative work involving the operations and management of In-Home Services in thirteen counties. Activities associated with the job include the supervision of all daily activities performed by Coordinators and administrative support as well as general oversight of field staff. Additional activities include preparing and monitoring the annual budget; formulating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with governing regulations and guidelines; monitoring quality assurance and improvement process; ensuring staff receive needed training; interaction with agencies that provide financial support; public speaking; funding requests; compiling and reporting data; and developing/maintaining professional relationships with other community partners.
Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities require experience in providing educational programs regarding targeted clientele; thorough knowledge of federal, state and local regulations governing home care; and considerable experience supervising staff. The incumbent must also possess strong organizational and supervisory skills, interpersonal and decision-making skills for successful job performance. Additionally, individual must be dependable, well organized, solution oriented, and able to monitor and interpret data making appropriate independent decisions. The incumbent must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment with significant on-call responsibilities and be able to travel locally and work to expand services in the Mid-Cumberland area.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a BA/BS Degree in Social Services, Psychology, Health Sciences, or closely related field. The incumbent must have thorough experience supervising staff, strong organizational skills, significant interpersonal and decision making skills; considerable experience developing and monitoring budgets. Incumbent must have reliable transportation, proof of $100,000 vehicle liability insurance. Previous experience with Home & Community based services, Home Health, elderly and/or disabled is requested but not required
