Job Summary

Organization Summary: 4:13 Strong is a faith-based non-profit organization based in Nashville, Tennessee that empowers young men to transform their lives so that they can succeed personally and professionally. Our residential program provides a holistic approach to foster social, emotional and spiritual growth and takes approximately six to eight months for a participant to complete.

 Job Summary: A 4:13 Strong House Manager is responsible for working with the Campus Coordinator and other 4:13 Strong staff leaders to help ensure campus safety, reliable transportation, meaningful activity leadership, and participant compliance with 4:13 Strong policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties: Reporting to the Campus Coordinator, House Managers will have the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as Resident on Duty 10 weekends per year (Shift is 6:00 pm Friday-6:00 pm Sunday)
    • Senior program representative on site
    • Ensure overall compliance with program rules, policies, and procedures
    • Maintain overall campus safety and security
    • Monitor movements of all men living on campus and all visitors coming to campus
    • Make sure the program schedule is maintained
    • Escalate issues as needed to the Campus Coordinator and the Program Director
  • Lead or assist with 40 Day Challenge weekend activities 10 weekends per year (not while Resident on Duty)
    • Actively participate in enrichment trips, service projects, and church services
    • Clean up and put away all equipment following activity’s conclusion
  • Lead one house activity per week (dinner, game night, book study, etc)
  • Oversee house living activities
    Ensure house residents comply with program rules, policies, and procedures

    • Maintain overall house safety and security
    • Monitor movement of all men living in the house
    • Ensure rent payments are made on time and participants are meeting budgeting expectations
  • Drive 5 shifts per week (pick up or take 4:13 Strong participants to work)
  • Meet with Campus Coordinator 30 minutes daily for updates and monthly for a team meeting
  • Participate in quarterly trainings

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills: The ideal 4:13 Strong House Manager candidate will be someone who is passionate about Christian ministry. He will be able to connect with the men of 4:13 Strong. The candidate will also have the following skills:

  • Must have a valid Drivers License
  • Ability to make good decisions consistently through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Must believe in the core values of 4:13 Strong and be driven by the mission

Housing only.  2 bedroom apartment with all water, internet, and electricity paid

The hours are flexible enough to have a job outside of 4:13 Strong
