Job Summary

Help the kids of Cross Point Hendersonville know and love Jesus. Lead the Kids ministry by working to achieve the goals of Cross Point Kids at the local campus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Central Kids Team to create and implement strategies to draw families in through Kids ministry.
  • Lead and manage the Sunday Cross Point Kids experience at Hendersonville campus.
  • Partner with Kids volunteers to teach kids about Jesus in ways they enjoy and understand.
  • Lead Cross Point Kids volunteers in implementing the scheduling, curriculum prep, administrative work, and projects related to CP Kids.
  • Leading and developing a strategy to coordinate, recruit, and encourage volunteers.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to teach, lead small groups, create, serve, and produce all Cross Point Kids programming and events.
  • Lead and inspire volunteer leaders in accomplishing CP Kids goals.
  • Ensure the vision of Cross Point Kids is represented and carried out with excellence at the campus level.
  • Build a coaching structure outlined in our coaching playbook within your volunteer team.
  • Understand all of Cross Point Kids programs, curriculum, systems, processes, policies and procedures to be able to cast vision for these in any situation.
  • Share the vision of Cross Point Kids with families in the church and people in the community.
  • Connect with and equip parents to lead their children’s spiritual development.
  • Contribute to the leadership of the campus staff team.
  • Create a presence for Cross Point Kids in the community.

Additional Information


Full-time, salaried role with employer-paid insurance, dental, & vision for the employee. 403(b) option. Flexible PTO plan and monthly cell phone reimbursement.
