JOB SUMMARY

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for the organization and implementation of individual and corporate development efforts at Park Center. Focus areas include annual giving, event sponsorships, major gifts, capital gifts, and planned gifts, as well as database management and routine department functions.

Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Fundraising
    • Lead development efforts in the areas of annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and major gifts.
    • Research key donors and develop engagement strategies.
    • Collect and analyze data for goal setting and evaluation of individual and corporate fundraising efforts.
    • Execute direct mail appeals, including copywriting, data compilation and segmentation, design, and vendor selection.
    • Develop content with the CEO for formal proposals, appeal letters, collateral, event programs, annual publications, and other projects as needed.
    • Coordinate Park Center’s Development Committee, including recruiting committee members annually, organizing meetings, identifying objectives, and driving outcomes.
    • Track donor engagement and maintain data integrity within eTapestry.
  • Financial Responsibility
    • Achieve individual and corporate fundraising goals annually.
    • Partner with COO, CEO, and CFO to develop and monitor annual budget.
    • Drive budget growth by cultivating new funding sources and diversifying revenue streams.
    • Audit and present financial data to executive staff and board as needed.
    • Oversee gift processing procedures and protect donor financial information.
    • Process gifts and follow acknowledgement procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job operates in a professional office environment with remote office flexibility.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds.  Visual ability to detect errors.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for mental health, addiction recovery, and housing-focused services and leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in nonprofit industry with demonstrated experience in development roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate stakeholder relationships and produce outcomes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to influence varied audiences.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for collaboration and ability to work with other staff and departments to achieve a shared vision.
  • Ability to develop and implement high-level strategic plans.
  • Professionalism and ability to represent Park Center effectively in the community.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to utilize spreadsheets, presentations, and word processing tools.
  • Experience working with CRM software preferred.
