Job Summary

To actively participate in the crisis to housing continuum at Oasis Center. This role primarily provides supportive services to youth living at Fisk Court Apartments. To actively participate in the crisis to housing continuum at Oasis Center. This role primarily provides supportive services to youth living at Fisk Court Apartments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment and support to youth as they apply to housing through MDHA and UHS
  • Provide comprehensive case management services to program youth.
  • Provide Neurofeedback services to youth
  • Provide liaison, advocacy and referral services with appropriate mental health centers, treatment centers, courts, physicians, school systems, Department of Children’s Services and others as needed.
  • Provide on-site apartment checks
  • Meet regularly with Urban Housing Solution to maintain/enhance Fisk Court collaboration
  • Facilitate problem solving with youth and staff to resolve conflict and manage crisis in a way that creates a caring and safe environment at Fisk Court.
  • Supervise Jesuit Volunteer Corp staff and volunteers
  • Attend Community Homeless Coordination meetings
  • Participate in program on-call system
  • Transport clients as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience
  • Clear understanding of racial inequities, privilege, power dynamics, and forms of discrimination.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply Positive Youth Development and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

  • Ability to deliver services through a low barrier approach
  • Provide hands-on life skill in regards to cleaning and maintenance of youth apartment as needed
