Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager works in conjunction with the CEO and COO in the formulation of budgets, financial models, and projections to support the strategic business planning process.

Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and organizational decision making.
  • Lead efforts to unpack business unit profitability and drive analytics.
  • Develop deep business understanding of drivers and levers that impact financial performance of the organization.
  • Support the strategic business planning process by identifying and analyzing KPIs.
  • Take ownership of the core financial model and drive the planning agenda, cadence, and financial metrics for the business.
  • Manage the annual budget and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
  • Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Develops reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Provides support to the Controller as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SUCCESS FACTORS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient quantitative analysis skills.
  • Capability to multitask and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Advanced computer program skills, such as the ability to write macros in Excel and other financial packages

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 3+ years in a strategic financial role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
