Position Summary
The Executive Coordinator, a member of the Executive Leadership Team, is the primary liaison for the President and CEO. This involves managing stakeholder relationships—internal and external—and working in partnership with the CEO in communication with the Board of Trustees. The position regularly collaborates with other members of the Executive Leadership Team to advance the mission through problem solving, innovative solutions, generation of analytics/reports, and promotion of overall organizational effectiveness and cross-department communication.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Strategically manages CEO meeting schedule, connecting with key constituents, and prioritizing organizational priorities and needs through relationship-building
- Works in partnership with the CEO on aspects of donor stewardship and philanthropic relationship building with external stakeholders
- Serves as primary liaison to the Board of Trustees; inclusive of individual communication, meeting planning and preparation of presentations and other materials
- Sits on the Executive Leadership Team, advancing organizational priorities and setting operational goals and objectives together with strategic planning
- Joins with other ELT members to advance the mission through planning, execution, and attendance at special events and stewardship activities
- Collaborates with ELT members on managing analytics and impact report generation
- Completes special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience is required with two or more years of work experience with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility. Experience in stakeholder stewardship is a plus.

- Professional level of written and oral communication skills
- Experience communicating with stakeholders and community leaders
- Collaborative spirit and able to work across departments to achieve high-level, strategic goals.
- Ability to manage and safeguard sensitive/confidential information and carry the function of position with the highest level of integrity.
Environmental Conditions & Physical Demands
- The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, and training rooms; use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls and observance of fire regulations.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there is some walking, standing, bending, and carrying light items. Also, the employee must have manual dexterity and visual and auditory acuity.
- Some repetitive motion is involved
