Job Summary

The primary function of this position is to determine initial and/or continued eligibility of clients for Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA). This position also serves as a Liaison to the state office in RCA and RMA affairs. This work involves verifying eligibility documents, data entry, accurate and timely completion of forms and reports, communication of rights and responsibilities with clients, electronic submissions, and documentation of services.

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work well as a team and independently with minimal direction.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; ability to learn databases.
• Bi-lingual strongly preferred (Spanish).

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications required.
• Experience in working with refugees preferred.
