Job Summary

Progress Inc. is a provider agency that has been serving adults with intellectual disabilities and seniors in Nashville and surrounding counties since 1971.  We provide day, residential and employment supports funded through ECF, CHOICES and DIDD programs.  We are currently seeking to hire a Director of Residential Services that has departmental responsibility to make certain the needs and personal outcomes of the approximately 100 individuals that we serve are met.

Job Responsibilities

– Manage approximately 10 Program Support Staff as direct reports

– Work to grow the residential services department by accepting new referrals

– Communicate with stakeholders (ISCs, family members, conservators, DIDD and MCO staff) about service related concerns

– Maintain an environment of service delivery that is ‘Person Centered’ from middle management to front line DSP

– Departmental oversight to insure that services are provided in a way that increase independence and community involvement whenever possible

– Must be available by phone after hours and weekends

Qualifications

– Must have at least 5 years of experience working within the DD/ID field

– Must have a working knowledge of ECF programming and experience working with MCOs is strongly preferred

– Knowledge of emerging and existing ‘Enabling Technology’ strongly preferred

– Must have a Bachelors degree

– Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse

– Must be able to pass a criminal background check
