Job Summary
Pathways Kitchen seeks a Culinary Coordinator to support our culinary enterprises including event catering, wholesale product sales, and take-home meals. The role will coordinate activities including but not limited to customer service, event coordination, and staff scheduling. This person will report to the Culinary Director with additional management and support from the CEO and COO.
Job Responsibilities
- Receiving and responding to all catering customer inquiries, developing contracts, and managing all customer communication in a timely manner
- Managing all wholesale food product client relationships, including ordering, invoicing, and coordinating deliveries
- Scheduling and maintaining proper staffing for all culinary activities
- Coordinating all internal and external events, organizing timelines, preparing and distributing BEOS, managing vendors or suppliers, etc.
- Coordinating inventory of food and supplies, preparing shopping lists, sourcing ingredients and supplies, and performing regular inventory checks
- Providing assistance for food and supplies budgeting and financial reporting
- Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a catering coordinator, or other relevant position in the hospitality or food service experience industry
- Finance or business management skills
- Excellent communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
- Organized and punctual
- Takes initiative to identify and complete tasks effectively and efficiently
- Positive disposition, attention to detail, flexible and adaptable
- Able to learn new tasks quickly while multi-tasking many responsibilities
- Good role model to youth in personal character, integrity, and behavior
- Google Suite proficient
- Must submit to and pass a background check prior to final employment offer
- Must be cleared to drive youth and insurable on catering vehicles
