Job Summary

The Corporate Project Manager (Manager) works to execute Hands On Nashville’s (HON) corporate volunteer projects and special events. The Manager oversees all aspects of event planning, including project development, relationship cultivation with partner organizations, and day-of leadership.

Job Responsibilities

About the Role

·         Manages 50+ volunteer projects/events per year, overseeing all project logistics, including creation of the scope of work, site visits, staffing, supply procurement, and budgeting.

·         Serves as an ambassador and liaison between HON and its community and corporate partners.

·         Develops and leads trainings for community volunteers, contractors, and HON staff.

·         Creates promotional and social media materials in collaboration with the communications team.

·         Provides professional development and day-to-day management of Corporate Partner Program AmeriCorps member(s).

·         Adheres to departmental budget.

·         Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

About You

·         Meticulous attention to detail and organization, including superior problem-solving skills and ability to manage several projects concurrently.

·         Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills.

·         Ability to lead large teams, speak publicly, and give presentations to a wide variety of audiences.

·         Comfortable using power tools (drills, saws, augers, etc.) and driving tow-behind trailers.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Requirements  

·         Bachelor’s degree with 3-plus years’ experience coordinating/managing large-scale events or volunteer projects.

·         Criminal history background check clearance.

·         Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle. Staff are reimbursed for work-related mileage.

·         Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive squatting, bending, and twisting motions.

·         Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends; some overnight travel necessary.
