Job Summary

To cultivate and maintain a program of evidence-based services for women impacted by addiction, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and incarceration.

SUMMARY:

To provide clinical and program leadership for the Doors of Hope Residential Reentry and Recovery Program. Requires evidence-based program development and quality assurance for recovery support services for women returning to the community from incarceration settings.

Reports To: Executive Director

Supervises: Licensed Counselor, LPN Wellness Coordinator, Residential Services Supervisor, OT/Career Navigator, LADAC II, CPRS Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to the following and may be subject to change based on organizational needs:

  • Works with the Executive Director to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization.
  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and assistance with implementing programs and setting clearly defined expectations for staff to meet program outcomes in accordance with grant requirements.
  • Responsible for hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, and corrective action of supervisees.
  • Ensures the provision of client-centered services in a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment.
  • Provides direct services to clients, based upon discipline.
  • Model and provide training for program staff regarding the Doors of Hope model of care, agency mission, vision, and values.
  • Establish strong, positive community partnerships to enable effective collaborations with community-based service providers.
  • Conduct assessments, including ASI/ASAM and psychosocial assessments, and approve treatment plans for clients.
  • Ensure agency compliance with all rules, federal and state licensing laws, grant requirements, and standards, relative to program services, support, and documentation.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with Rutherford County Corrections staff and TDOC staff and officials to coordinate program-related services and maintain program compliance.
  • Develops and oversees policy in adherence to standards of evidence-based practice for mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Leads treatment team to ensure delivery of timely and appropriate services and documentation of same.
  • Collects data and oversees the collection of data regarding program and client outcomes.
  • Provide oversight for program and client outcome metrics monitoring, confidentiality of records, and peer review in accordance with federal, state, and local government requirements.
  • Ensures clinical program coverage as required.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field is required.
  • Licensure by the Tennessee Board (LPC/ MHSP/ LCSW/LADAC)
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a reentry or recovery/treatment setting is required.
  • Experience in nonprofit management, grant reporting, and grant management preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen.

Job Type: Full-Time 36hrs/week 

Schedule: 4-day work week/to be discussed with the Executive Director

Salary Range: $62,000-$72,000 based on experience
