Job Summary

Nourish Food Bank, a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving Rutherford County and the surrounding community, is currently seeking a Client Intake Specialist for our Smyrna office to assist families in moving through our intake process with efficiency, compassion and courtesy. This person will also be responsible for volunteer and inventory management on site.

Job Responsibilities

The Client Intake Specialist is responsible for conducting client interviews and document checks, data collection and input, volunteer engagement and oversight, and site-specific inventory management.


The ideal candidate will exhibit, at minimum, the following skills and characteristics:

  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license

The Client Intake Specialist will spend approximately 60% of his/her time sitting at a desk, and may potentially lift up to 40 lbs of stock on an as needed basis.
