Job Summary

Under supervision, facilitates, coordinates, and administers development and production of continuing education seminars for the Tennessee Bar Association, which was recently recognized as a "Best Place to Work" by the Nashville Business Journal.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Job Duties 

Assists in Production of Online and Onsite CLE Programs

  1. Facilitates development of seminar content and program by speakers and producers as needed.
  2.  As directed, enters courses into website format, coordinates with vendors and assists with inputting relevant information in order to obtain certification of courses with the Continuing Legal Education Commission.

Administers Program Follow-Up 

  1. Ensures all online videos are submitted to commission and added to online catalog.
  2. Creates 1-Click packages for practice area related programming.
  3. Reviews requests for speaker/producer reimbursement for accuracy; approves for payment.
  4. Files for CLE credits on state website for all CLE program participants, including webcasts; updates TBA database.
  5. Works with accounting to ensure member accounts and payments are handled properly.
  6. Contributes to CLE development and production as needed.

Participates in Member Relations

  1. Provides in-person CLE support as needed.
  2. Responds to questions from members and others concerning CLE offerings, credits and other information; assists users in navigating online seminars including updating CLE FAQs on TBA.ORG.
  3. Troubleshoots internet problems with users as qualified; refers to Webcasting & A/V Coordinator as needed.

Equipment Operated

Telephone, computer, printer, photocopier/scanner and standard A/V equipment. Must be comfortable with utilizing Zoom and other virtual platforms 

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Successful candidate will work both remotely and in an office environment. Occasional overnight travel to events may be required.  

Qualifications

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer-centered environments including other service-based companies or organizations.
