Job Summary
SUMMARY
The BI Analyst and Salesforce Administrator will gather and analyze data with the purpose of identifying and designing process improvement areas within Nurture the Next. As Salesforce Administrator, this position extends Salesforce functionality through customization which fulfills user and agency needs. This position manages all organizational databases and is responsible for maintaining agency wide data. This position also supervises our Quality Assurance Specialist.
Job Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Salesforce Administrator and Platform App Builder:
- Assess user needs, design architecture, build and deploy custom applications to extend Salesforce functionality to improve data collection and reporting processes for multiple agency programs.
- Write Technical User Guides for new and existing processes.
- Troubleshoot and fix unusable Salesforce applications
- Provide Training on Salesforce and other databases for Nurture the Next staff.
Business Intelligence Manager:
- Complete detailed analyses and reports to monitor program outcomes, inform Chief Program Officer of data trends, and suggest process improvements.
- Create data visualization for internal and external communications.
- Create dashboards measuring KPIs, outcomes, and demographics for all programs.
- Extract data from multiple sources for grant reporting and applications.
- Provide data and reports for regional program audits and file reviews.
- Compile and submit accurate monthly and quarterly reports.
- Respect and maintain confidential information in all situations.
Database Manager:
- Provide technical assistance regarding use of databases.
- Provide needed reports and attend quarterly site visits in appropriate region.
- Provide training and troubleshooting assistance for rollout of new or updated versions of software.
- Along with Program Officer, participate in TN Department of Health CQI initiatives.
Nurture the Next Mission:
- Participates in agency events, such as fundraising, community awareness, and program events
- Assist with child abuse prevention month activities and Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign
- Participate in major fundraising and development events benefitting Nurture the Next community awareness events that promote the agency and programs, and program activities of the organization no matter the individual role
- Represents the agency at community, civic or other public functions
- Follow organizational policies
- Participate in agency ad-hoc committees as appropriate and needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Salesforce Administration abilities required; NPSP experience and Certifications, preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including use of pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, and formulas

- Intermediate proficiency in remaining Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), computer literacy, internet

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited college or university and prior experience in continuous quality improvement and database management. Prior experience working in nonprofits preferred.
