The Finance team collaborates with GNRC’s administrative and program leadership to develop an annual operating budget.
GNRC was established in 1965 by the TN General Assembly as an association of local governments empowered to convene local and state leaders for the purposes of planning and programming state and federal investments into a range of social services and public infrastructure. GNRC serves as the region’s federally-recognized Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD), and Economic Development District (EDD). More information is available at GNRC.org.

The court utilizes the program as a public option of last resort for individuals who have no other family member, friend, bank, or corporation willing, able, or suitable to act on their behalf.
In general, the duties of the Fiscal Specialist include:
- Reviewing and recording details of financial transaction, as assigned;
- Providing bookkeeping services for Public Guardianship clients to include paying bills and other expenses, receiving checks and other income, making deposits, and reconciling bank accounts;
