Under the leadership of the Finance Director, the Finance team is responsible for managing the accounting and analysis of GNRC’s financial activity to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting. The Finance team collaborates with GNRC’s administrative and program leadership to develop an annual operating budget.

GNRC was established in 1965 by the TN General Assembly as an association of local governments empowered to convene local and state leaders for the purposes of planning and programming state and federal investments into a range of social services and public infrastructure. GNRC serves as the region’s federally-recognized Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD), and Economic Development District (EDD). More information is available at GNRC.org.

  • Fact-checking accounting data and notifying senior staff of accounting errors;
  • Preparing routine and ad hoc financial reports to support GNRC leadership, the Public Guardianship Program, and external partners;
  • Preparing documents and files for financial audits and program monitoring reviews; and
  • Performing other assignments as requested by the Finance Director.
