FiftyForward is seeking a highly motivated and mission-focused individual to join our dynamic team as the full-time All of Us Research Prograam Engagement Coordinator.

FiftyForward is a National Community Engagement Partner with the All of Us Research Program from the National Institutes of Health. The role of the All of Us Research Program Engagement Coordinator is to educate, excite, and facilitate enrollment in the All of Us Research Program by reaching out to historically underrepresented populations, including older adults, to encourage their participation.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engagement, health, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience in engagement with underrepresented communities
  • Minimum 1 year experience in social media/digital content creation and development.  Strong understanding of data science highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Demonstrates an interest in and sensitivity to older adults
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other graphics programs
  • Experience with data analysis and management, digital training and social media
  • Maintain positive working relationships with staff, volunteers, and the public
  • A valid TN driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance

Qualifications

  • Spearheads outreach to increase All of Us engagement of residents of rural areas. Conducts outreach to develop and sustain community partnerships, plan and offer events, and conduct in-person engagement activities with groups and individuals.
  • In coordination with the All of Us Project Director, educates and inspires community leaders and members about the All of Us Research Program, its value and the opportunity to participate.
  • Researches, plans, staffs, and maintains tracking spreadsheet for FiftyForward All of Us community events.
  • Creates monthly FiftyForward All of Us e-newsletter.
  • Conducts community PowerPoint and other presentations to educate about the All of Us
  • Engages with the All of Us Research Workbench to gather findings related to older adults as needed. Creates needed slides/presentations on data curated from the workbench site.
  • Researches and recruits pertinent speakers to participate in All of Us virtual and in-person events.
  • Works with FiftyForward Communications team to further FiftyForward digital engagement overall to enhance the program’s ability to educate and engage the largest possible audience. Collaborates with FiftyForward Social Media Manager to amplify the program’s social media reach.
  • In coordination with the Project Director, maintains and reports program success metrics to NIH and FiftyForward.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and appreciation for precision medicine and the benefits of the All of Us Research Program.
  • Maintains engagement metrics in the NIH “Dashboard” (training provided).
  • Works with All of Us team and center staff to plan and create All of Us “Health and Wellness” events for FiftyForward members.
  • In charge of print ad creation and other event marketing, including creation of central All of Us photo bank. Submits design requests to Wondros for development (training provided).
  • Attends and participates in all required NIH meetings for the All of Us Consortium including cultural awareness trainings, Communications calls, and others as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
