Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining SACs Advocacy and SAFE Clinic through maintaining grant requirements and administrative duties.

Job Responsibilities

Major Duties/Expectations: 

  • Assist the Director of Advocacy, SAFE Clinic and Statewide Sexual Assault Hotline with administrative duties;
  • Assist SAC’s Attorney with paperwork and client calls (as needed);
  • Maintain tracking of supplies, order as needed and stock;
  • Submit labs from SAFE Clinic to Medspeed for testing;
  • Work with vendors and maintain detailed logs;
  • Submit expense requests for Advocacy and SAFE Clinic;
  • Submit State Victim Compensation SAFE Claims;
  • Assist front desk when needed;
  • Ensure services are trauma informed, culturally competent, and consistent with best practices;
  • Model interdepartmental collaboration;
  • Collect and report data for Advocacy and SAFE Clinic as required by Director of Advocacy, SAFE Clinic and Statewide Hotline;
  • Evaluate data to make sure it meets all requirements for tracking internally and externally:
  • Serve as emergency backup to on-call programs including MAP and SAFE Clinic staffing;
  • Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings (minimum 2 a month); 
  • Participate in regularly scheduled individual supervision meetings with Director of Advocacy, SAFE Clinic and Statewide Hotline;  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:    

A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field. Minimum of 2 years work experience in related field. Other relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.  

SAC reserves the right waive any of the above qualifications dependent on work experience and other qualifying factors

  • Thorough understanding of the immediate, short, and long term needs of sexual assault survivors   
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from multiple disciplines 
  • Ability to listen and understand 
  • Works well as a member of a team  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills   
  • Knowledge of state and local agencies, resources, and court system 
  • Bilingual Preferred 
  • Understanding of culturally responsive care and experience working with diverse communities or in marginalized populations  
  • Organized, detail oriented, and flexible 
  • Able to work independently and respond to shifting priorities
