Job Summary

University School of Nashville seeks a warm, friendly, and organized Administrative Assistant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Development Office. This hourly support staff position is full-time (12 months), non-exempt, and reports to the Director of Development. The Administrative Assistant must be available to work 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, as well as for occasional evening and weekend events.

Job Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will provide primary clerical support to the Director of Development, as well as a wide range of administrative support including donor and gift database management, office management, and event planning, among other duties. A high level of professionalism, organizational skills, and attention to detail is required, in addition to strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Qualifications include a high school diploma, college degree preferred; excellent computer skills and experience with database management, Raiser’s Edge preferred; and prior administrative office management experience is also preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Experience with database management required, experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
  • Prior administrative office management experience preferred
