Job Summary

Responsible for greeting all participants and visitors. Provides assistance with office tasks while providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail.

Job Responsibilities

  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to appropriate staff
  • Greet participants and visitors
  • Log participants in daily Participant Log
  • Connect participants to designated staff and departments to receive services
  • Maintaining awareness of available staff to deliver services
  • Assemble new participant files
  • Ensure files are alphabetically placed
  • Maintain tidiness of front desk and lobby
  • Assist with setting up for meetings
  • Participate in Project Return’s general operations including classroom teaching, mock interviewing, and more, as needed

Qualifications

Motivation to assist others with the transition from incarceration to a full and free life. Proven relationship-building ability required. Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong people skills and the ability to relate to a broad cross-section of the community from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds; good organizational and record-keeping skills with the ability to multitask. Self-motivated, team-spirited, and a strong desire to work for an organization helping people make a new beginning, and an understanding of how this work benefits both the individual and the community.
