Pet Community Center
Accountant
Pet Community Center
Job Summary
As Nashville’s only nonprofit veterinary clinic, Pet Community Center (PCC) ensures that financial hardship does not prevent dogs and cats from receiving the high-quality veterinary care and services they deserve. We strive to break down the barriers families may face in caring for their beloved pets by focusing on three core areas in animal welfare: protecting the health of pets, preventing pet overpopulation, and providing for pets in need.
PCC’s accountant performs a variety of accounting functions: financial reporting, budget preparation, accounts payable, fund establishment, and account maintenance. The ideal accountant will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on implementer – comfortable with creating projections and reports, reconciling a variety of financial accounts, as well as performing data entry. They must have a strong commitment to transparency and accountability in our organization’s fiscal practices to help ensure our promise to donors, team members, and the community to ground our work in trust.
