What if I just want to sign up for the core classes, and not any of the elective courses?
You can sign up for just the core classes; however, you will not receive a certificate unless the elective courses are completed as well.
I want to sign up for the certificate, but one of the elective workshop dates does not work for me. What do I do?
Workshops are often provided multiple times in a year. Look at the workshop calendar to see other dates within a calendar year of the first course you take. All the required core and electives must be completed to receive the certificate.
I want to sign up for the certificate, but one of the core workshop dates does not work for me. What do I do?
You must sign up for all core classes at once. Most core classes have parts (ex. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3). These workshops must be taken in order. If one of the dates does not work for you, look for the next cohort offering on the workshop calendar. Most core workshops are offered twice a year.
Can I sign up for more than one certificate at a time?
Participants may sign up for as many certificates as they would like. Simply enroll in the certificate core classes for the sessions you are interested in.
Can the courses I took prior to 2020 apply towards the new certificate?
Courses taken in 2019 may be applied to the certificates. Courses taken before 2019 may not be applied to the certificates.
How long do I have to complete the certificate?
Certificates must be completed within two years of the first course taken. If the certificate is not completed within two years, then you will not be eligible for the certificate.
