Unconscious bias is a hot topic; but, what is it and how do we understand it? Do all individuals have an unconscious bias? How does bias unfold in daily interactions and throughout organizations?
Participants will learn how to understand identity and unconscious bias in yourself and within organizations, as well as strategies for increasing equity and inclusion within organizations.
Learning Objectives:
• Help individuals better understand their own identity and unconscious biases
• Understand strategies to help mitigate bias on the individual and organizational level
• Develop strategies for how to course correct when you recognize bias in yourself and others
Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
