** Due to COVID-19, we are transitioning this workshop to an online Live Classroom using Zoom.  You will receive a link to the Zoom session closer to the workshop date. 

Workplace coaching has been shown to increase motivation and trust between leaders and employees. How can nonprofit leaders develop their coaching skills to help their employees flourish?

 

Learn what it takes to build a culture of coaching in your organization to help with professional growth, communication, and building trust. In this workshop participants will practice coaching activities in small groups to strengthen their skills and get feedback from others. Learn about the best times to use coaching, questioning strategies, and the framework for a typical coaching conversation. In an afternoon breakout session, each participant will have an opportunity to practice coaching conversations in small groups and receive direct feedback from an executive coach.

This class will be conducted via Zoom from 9am – 12:30am and then participants can sign up for one of three afternoon sessions for small group coaching. Afternoon sessions will be held from 1pm- 1:50 pm and 2pm -2:50 pm and 3- 3:50 pm.

Leaders and executives looking to build their coaching skills to improve outcomes in the workplace.

CNM Members working toward their Volunteer Management certificate

Method of Facilitation: peer to peer coaching, role play, discussion, reflection

This work will amplify the impact of nonprofits by helping participants:

Learn the coaching core competencies and how they intersect with leadership.

Use the coach approach to identify employee needs, set goals, create action plans, and provide feedback.

Practice applying coaching frameworks and strategies in small groups.
