You know the basics of grant writing...so, now what?
Take your grant writing skills to the next level and learn valuable techniques that will help your grant proposals stand out. The Advanced Grant Writing workshop provides participants with valuable insight into what grant reviewers are looking for when they analyze and review grant requests.
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn by working through grant writing exercises and grant proposals individually and in groups, which creates opportunities to also learn from and share with peers.
This is not an introductory course to grant writing. Participants need to have at least 1 year of grant writing experience or completion of the Basic Grant Writing workshop.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn top tips for writing grant proposals
• Review common grant proposal components
• Understand the importance of a concept paper
• Learn how to write an effective letter of inquiry
• Write compelling sections of a grant proposal
Note: Lunch is included for this full-day workshop.
Full participation in Advanced Grant Writing is applicable for 5 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
