Are you new to evaluation? Does managing your organization’s data give you heartburn? This workshop is designed for practitioners new to evaluating programs. Learn the foundations of evaluation, the basics of the evaluation life cycle, and how to ensure your evaluation activities are done ethically and with equity in mind.
This course requires no previous evaluation experience and will provide a foundational understanding for those new to evaluation and/or data collection and analysis. Learn best practices, share your evaluation woes, and get hands-on experience developing an evaluation plan. (Lunch is provided.)
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the foundations of and uses for program evaluation
- Explore the importance of program design as a foundational activity for evaluation
- Develop an understanding of the basics of each phase of the evaluation life cycle- program design, evaluation focus, selecting and designing data collection methods, collecting and analyzing data, as well as reporting and sharing findings.
(*CNM reserves the right to move in-person workshops to Zoom or an alternate location if public health conditions or other logistical considerations warrant.)
Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
