About CEO Conversations:

CNM’s CEO Conversations series is designed to provide learning and networking opportunities for Nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs. With a mix of educational and social gatherings, CEO Conversation events allow space for Executives to share best practices while strengthening the whole nonprofit community.

Event Description:

What does it take to communicate your finances in today’s nonprofit world? While many organizations rely on statistics to hammer home their points, a clearly presented financial story can serve to motivate your audience to action and build confidence at every level.

Hear from Nikki Kubly (CPA and Assurance Partner at FORVIS) as we discuss how CEOs can use their organization’s financial documents to tell a compelling story that reflects the hard work and community impact their nonprofit is achieving. From Form 990s and reporting to dashboards, KPIs and integrations, this event will explore the lasting impact financial storytelling can have on your stakeholders.

About the Speaker:

Nikki is a member of the FORVIS Nonprofit, Education and Public Sector Group, and FORVIS Commercial Products Group. After moving to Nashville from Denver in 2019 with BKD (now FORVIS), she leads FORVIS Nashville’s Audit and Advisory departments and has more than 17 years of financial and accounting experience.

She provides a variety of audit, consulting, and advisory services to not-for-profit organizations, including board education, financial reporting, implementation of new accounting standards, audit preparation and budgeting, as well as evaluation and assessment of internal controls, policies, and procedures.

She has served on numerous nonprofit boards throughout her career and is a graduate of Purdue University.

Structure:
