Nonprofit leaders are adapting to a new environment, where everything from service delivery to fundraising has changed. It’s more important than ever that nonprofit professionals tell a clear, concise and compelling story of how they’re serving the community in changing times. This interactive workshop prepares leaders to deliver a clear and concise message, whether you’re talking to a board of directors, community organization, or donors. We’ll cover how to sharpen your message; speak effectively virtually and in-person; engage your audience; and handle challenging Q&A.
Facilitator: Mimi Bliss
Learning Objectives:
- Speak confidently and professionally in virtual and in-person meetings/events
- Engage your audience with intentional questions, technology tools and effective PowerPoint, so that you’re having a conversation, not a monologue
- Sharpen your message, which includes being concise and giving specific examples
Note: This workshop can be used as an elective for all CNM Certificate programs requiring additional electives for completion.
