For a nonprofit, getting local elected representatives behind your cause is critical. It takes intentional time to develop partnerships with legislators that result in greater advocacy and support for your mission. Join our September Town Hall for a special forum to see and hear from Middle Tennessee Senators and House members.
This event will be an excellent opportunity to hear directly from legislators on the importance of the relationship between the nonprofit sector and state government. This event will be a moderated panel of 3-4 state legislators discussing topics important to Middle Tennessee nonprofits including techniques for nonprofit advocacy efforts, communication tips and success stories, and the importance of nonprofits to the government agenda.
We strongly encourage attendees to submit questions for the speakers prior to the event. A link to submit questions prior to the event will be included in your confirmation email. Questions sent during the event via the Zoom chat feature will be sent to event hosts and co-hosts and will be asked if time allows.
