Strategic Planning is a process tool for your organization’s future that helps communicate the organizational goals and actions needed to achieve the desired results. The main purpose is to advance the organization’s mission. During this highly engaging session, participants will create a mock strategic plan that will serve as a resource for future planning endeavors.
- Participants will learn why organizations need a strategic plan, how it will be a guiding tool for the organization's needs, and the steps needed to create one.
- Participants will learn who has to be involved in the planning process and eventual implementation. The process must be inclusive of all stakeholders with equality of representation.
- Participants will examine the critical relationship between the Board, staff, volunteers, and the community in creating a strategic plan and the successful implementation of that plan.
