Community Conversations: The Systems Lens – Exploring Opportunities for Policy Change (Online Classroom)

Registration is closed for this event

Many of the most successful Collective Impact initiatives intentionally incorporate both programmatic AND systems/policy change strategies into their work. Join us to explore key questions including: what is policy change and why do we want it?  What does it mean to incorporate a “systems-change” lens into your CI work and how do you do it?  What lessons can we learn from current local examples of systems and policy change in action? This session will also include a focused conversation to identify potential opportunities to develop a shared systems & policy change agenda that CI Initiatives might align around.

Objectives
Participants of this session will:

  • Learn the distinction between programmatic and systemic change strategies
  • Deepen understanding of why the lens of systems & policy change is essential in successful Collective Impact (CI) initiatives
  • Learn from local case studies championing policy & systems change strategies to affect change
  • Explore assets & strengths and identify potential areas of focus for systems & policy change in Nashville
