Community Conversations: Building Funding Partners in Collaborative Work (Online Classroom)

Participants will learn how to talk with funders about collaborative work and determine their own agency narrative to strengthen partnerships during a time of transition. In small groups, the attendees with practice basic strategies to build funder interest into successful ongoing partnerships as part of the work of collaboration and system-level change.

Objectives:

  1. Active listening, creating dialogue with grantmaking partners
  2. Adapting the collaboration (and agency) call-to-action for challenging economic times
  3. Leveraging the assets of your organization and collective to build and sustain funding partnerships 

Join Kim Carpenter-Drake (Middle TN Donor's Forum), Corrinne Bergeron (Frist Foundation) and Kristen Davis (Nurture the Next and ACE Nashville) for this timely discussion on sustainability and maintaining the infrastructure for systems change work during economic and health crises.
