This Community Conversation will introduce participants to the “missing elements” of the collective impact model, followed by a primer on a framework for incorporating equity into collaborative work and concluding with an overview of four tools for embedding equity into collective impact work including organizational assessment, process mapping, equity impact assessment, and targeted universalism.  

OUTCOMES:
Participants will…

  1. be able to identify “missing elements” of the collective impact model that relate to equity, engagement and power and describe how they may impact collective impact work.
  2. understand a basic framework for operationalizing equity in collective impact efforts
  3. be familiar with four tools for embedding equity into collective impact initiatives
