Description: Cross-cultural research highlights the key traits of inclusive leaders and their strategies for inclusion. This session will discuss key inclusive leadership traits to effectively lead diverse teams and organizations that work with diverse constituents. Inclusive leadership traits, strategies, and case studies will be presented. **Red flags on if you are leading an inequitable team

Learning Objectives: 

  1. Develop an understanding of key leadership competencies that foster an inclusive environment.
  2. Discuss inclusive leadership traits and the commitment to inclusive-centered best practices in managing diverse teams, modeling inclusive behavior, and creating inclusive cultures.
  3. Review organization strategies for inclusion, including building diverse teams, recruiting, interviewing, and day to day management of teams.
