Developing a Thriving Grant Program with facilitator Audra Davis (CNM)
This workshop will give participants the steps to create and implement a thriving grant program. Participants will understand what it means to be grant ready, how to determine whether their organization aligns with prospective funders, and what steps need to be taken tocultivate relationships with funders. Lessons learned from multiple perspectives will be shared, including feedback from funders and best practices from nonprofit fundraising staff and leadership.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify any organizational or programming gaps that need to be addressed prior to applying
- Understand how and whether their programs align with funder’s priorities
- Determine appropriate cultivation steps before, during and after the application process
