This workshop is designed for individuals and teams who desire to have courageous conversations in the workplace around race, religion, biases and other pertinent social issues that arise in our personal and professional spaces. No one likes to address the conflict in the room or be the one to diffuse a situation at work, after all, it “isn’t my business.” Leaders will learn to make authentic connections with themselves and others through interactive conversations, an assessment, and situational role playing.
- Explore the role of personality styles, conflict styles, and biases in workplace decision making.
- Examine the effective communication skills required to resolve conflict personally and professionally.
- Learn the STAR method and the art of negotiation and tools to apply these in the workplace
