2016 in review - New CNM initiatives and resources still available

Did your organization set a New Year’s resolution to focus on excellent management strategies? Check out these new initiatives and resources we introduced last year in celebration of our 30th anniversary. All are still available through 2017!

Through the J.D. Elliott Leadership Development Fund, generously supported by The Memorial Foundation, nonprofit boards are presented with three different opportunities, all designed to improve and enhance nonprofit board leadership:

Work through problems or opportunities, with services including recruitment modeling, understanding roles and responsibilities, board engagement, and best practices.

Bring your nonprofit CEO and board chair together for a series of customized workshops designed to improve communications and problem-solving.

Jumpstart a session with a one-hour facilitated board meeting on a variety of topics.

A full year effort by the Office of the Attorney General, the Tennessee Secretary of State, and CNM has yielded a new resource for all nonprofits across the state: "What Every Board Member Should Know, 2016 Edition." Click here to read the guidebook.

Working with our partner Consolidus over the past year, the new member portal for the CNM Group Purchasing Organization makes it easy to access the discounted vendor pricing.

                                  Updated Certificate Programs

Learn about current trends and expand your skills by completing a specified track of workshops within a Certificate Program. The programs (from Revenue Development to Human Resources and more) have been updated and designed for maximum impact.
