Bon voyage to Director of Events and Partnerships Avé Trotter

After nine years of steadfast service and flawless event management, CNM is wishing a tearful bon voyage to our long-time employee Avé Trotter at the end of this year. Avé has accepted a position with Interfaith Dental Clinic, a CNM member and frequent user of our services, as the Director of Business Development. She will begin at Interfaith Dental Clinic in 2018.

"We are so sad to see Avé go, as she has made an incredible impact at CNM over the years. CNM would not be the strong organization it is today without Avé's dedication, attention to detail, sponsorship expertise, and of course, her warm and welcoming nature," said CNM President and CEO Tari Hughes. "But at the same time, we are excited for her in this new phase of professional growth. Fortunately, she isn't going too far away! We know from experience that Interfaith will benefit tremendously from Ave's leadership."

Under Avé's tenure, CNM's Salute to Excellence has grown to become the largest nonprofit awards ceremony in the country, and the Bridge to Excellence conference continues to bring top-notch education and training to our local nonprofit community. Avé also expanded CNM's OnBoard program to reach new businesses and train future nonprofit board members. She has held nearly every position at CNM and says she is grateful for everything she learned along the way.

"I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with so many incredible people during my time at CNM. I am sad that my time here is ending, but I look forward to the adventures to come!" Avé said. "Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years."

Avé will remain at CNM through 2017; she can be reached at ave@cnm.org.
