Job Summary
This is very responsible administrative work assisting with the daily operations of a multi-county rural transportation system. Activities associated with the position include coordinating specialized contracted billing activities, assisting with computer issues, and preparing a variety of specialized reports and spreadsheets. The Transportation Director will evaluate Job performance. Full benefits, 40 hrs/week. EOE
Job Responsibilities
Additional activities include assisting with billing operations, downloading data into an appropriate database(s) for billing, monitoring and reporting purposes, preparing and processing monthly invoices, reconciling monthly bank statements, and assisting with program compliance and certification requirements. The incumbent also assists with yearly municipal/county funding requests and grant applications. Job-related duties require considerable knowledge of public transportation systems and operations, and strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a B.A. (B.S.) Degree or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Pass Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
