Job Summary

The Development Director, working closely with the Executive Director, will implement and maintain fundraising campaigns and strategies, cultivate and care for donor relationships, and organize and track donor records to assist with long-term planning. The Development Director position requires developing and implementing strategic goals to provide for the short-term and long-term needs of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to PCN’s revenue growth efforts by overseeing the areas of monthly giving, individual giving, church relationships, and corporate and foundation partnerships.
  • Organize and manage PCN’s fundraising event(s), including serving as staff lead for the planning committee, securing sponsorships, and managing table host recruitment
  • Work with the communications staff to ensure that communications and solicitation efforts drive toward giving.
  • Oversee monthly giving program through regular physical mailings, email communication, and establishing and nurturing monthly donor relationships.
  • With Executive Director, create a major gift fundraising plan that includes cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of PCN’s key supporters.
  • Establish an annual fundraising calendar and monitor the progress of tasks throughout the year.
  • Maintain donor records to ensure that information is accurate with up-to-date gift history, contact details, and other relevant data

  • Demonstrated fundraising experience.
