Institute of Conflict Management
The Center for Nonprofit Management and Lipscomb's Institute for Conflict Management have announced the awarding of two (2) scholarships per year for CNM members beginning in 2011. These scholarships provide 100% tuition for a graduate Certificate in Conflict Management.
ICM has seen tremendous response from the Middle Tennessee community, particularly in the education, health & human services sectors of government and nonprofits. Challenging transactions and problems occur in all areas of business, and the academic and experiential training in conflict management through graduate-level study at ICM prepares leaders with a unique approach and immediately valuable interaction tools. The Certificate in Conflict Management is a 15-hour set of graduate hours (worth approximately $19,500) that can be applied toward a Master's degree or stand alone, and can be completed in as little as six (6) months.
To qualify for the Lipscomb/Center for Nonprofit Management award, a candidate will be required to complete an online application and submit all supplementary information. All admission requirements must be met before applicants will be considered by the Lipscomb/Center for Nonprofit Management selection committee.
