Since 2008, more than 30 states have passed at least one form of social enterprise legislation. These involve benefit corporations, benefit LLCs, L3Cs, social purpose corporations or public benefit corporations.
The Planned Giving Council of Middle Tennessee (PGCMT) announced today that Dr. Russell N. James III, Director of Graduate Studies in Charitable Planning and CH Foundation Chair in Personal Financial Planning at Texas Tech University, will be the keynote speaker for its annual half day professional development session. The event is scheduled for May 19, 2015 at Belmont University’s Gordon E. Inman Building in the Frist Lecture Hall.
