During these uncertain times nonprofit organizations and the power of our social sector are needed more than ever!

Healthcare and economy, service and sustainability, mission and margin — all create a myriad of opportunities and challenges for CEOs, executive directors, staff, and nonprofit board members.

It is time to come together and to leverage our strengths in new and creative ways. Have you considered all of the ways that strong fundraising strategies can empower organizational success?

In preparation for our 2017 Bridge to Excellence conference in the spring, we’re looking for high-quality proposals for educational sessions to explore these often complex and difficult topics of conversation. Get ready to share your expertise and innovative ideas with Middle Tennessee’s nonprofit leaders!

A successful proposal will include realistic conversations and interactive learning opportunities around “thinking like a fundraiser” and the ways that community support programs (donor-centered conversations, storytelling, and data management, for example) adapt to their ever-changing environment. We are seeking proposals for sessions with fundraising and community lenses that would benefit both new and experienced fundraisers as well as CEOs, board members, and nonprofit professionals on all levels.

Some potential focus areas can include, but not limited to:
Next generation philanthropy
Social change
Collaboration and collective impact
Mission versus margin
Donor/development realities
Technology advancements
Board fundraising and advocacy

All proposals must be in our office by January 23 for consideration. Please note that the office will be closed December 19 - January 2 for the holidays and will re-open January 3.

In your application, please be specific about your presentation and provide real-life examples, case studies and stories about previous experience, and how the group reacted to the information and format. If available, please include video clips that showcase your presentation style. Also, please let us know what key points attendees can expect to take away from your message.
