Are you new to the field of human resources, or are you an “accidental” HR employee for your nonprofit? The classes in the Human Resources Management Certificate Program will hone your HR skills and competencies so that you can be effective in your position. In this program, explore diversity in the workplace, how to develop an HR plan, giving feedback and more.

The HR Management Certificate Program is designed for anyone in an HR position in their organization, or for those who might have an HR element to their positions.

Required: four core workshops and two electives

  • Building a Highly Effective Team (October 26)
  • Recruiting, Engaging and Retaining Multi-Cultural Talent (March 30 - look for additional date in 2018)
  • Investing in People: Performance Management & Evaluation (July 24, & December 5)

Electives (choose two):

  • Diversity Breakthrough: Cultural IQ and Telling the Story (May 24 - look for additional date in 2018)
  • Change Management: Preparing for the Future (June 22)
  • Fostering Collaboration and Teamwork (TBA)
