Each year, we offer more than 120 workshops on a wide variety of topics that meet the needs of nonprofit staff, boards and volunteers. To register, please find the workshop you are interested in attending on our Workshop Calendar and click "Register for This Workshop." Then fill out and submit the required information, and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you within five business days. If you do not receive a confirmation within five days, please contact us at (615) 259-0100. You can also register by calling (615) 259-0100. We recommend registering at least two weeks prior to the workshop. Attendance is limited.
Fees & Payment Methods
CNM members receive discounts on fees for workshops. Full-day workshops typically cost nonmembers $195, while members pay only $95. Half-day workshops typically cost nonmembers $125, while members pay only $60.
Membership is available to nonprofit agencies. Fees for organizations are on a sliding scale, based on the agency's annual operating budget.
CNM members with budgets under $2,000,000 can receive matching funds that go toward the purchase of workshops and CNM products as part of the Frist Foundation MatchGrant program. There is no application to submit and the funds are automatically applied to an organization’s account at the beginning of each calendar year. Guidelines apply.
CNM accepts payment of tuition by check, cash, or credit card, and we do invoice for workshops. CNM processes all payments through PayPal to better protect our customers’ private payment details. A PayPal account is not required.
CNM offers special pricing for students looking to learn more about the nonprofit sector. To register, create an account on cnm.org and e-mail Brittany Irby, Education Manager, at email@example.com from your .edu student e-mail address with a scanned copy of your current student ID, if available. Please note: to receive the student price, the out-of-pocket must be paid fully by the student and not an organization or company.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel enrollment in a workshop, you will receive a full credit for another workshop or a refund. Notice of cancellation must be received at least two working days (48 hours) prior to the workshop, and you will receive a cancellation number. No refunds or credits will be given for late cancellations or no-shows of any workshop.
CNM reserves the right to cancel any workshop at any time. Should we cancel, participants may choose to receive either a full refund or a credit toward another workshop.
If there is inclement weather, check the front page of the CNM website or call (615) 259-0100 to see if classes are cancelled.
CNM has a money-back guarantee because we are so convinced participants will learn new skills they can use immediately. Fees will be refunded in full to anyone not satisfied with a training workshop.
